The Boy Who Drew Cats
The Boy Who Drew CatsMy senior thesis consisted of four front and back pillow illustrations of different folktales. This piece is a Japanese folk tale about a young monk who was asked to leave after drawing too many cats. Within the story, he sleeps in a cupboard to avoid danger (advised by the monks). While he sleeps the drawings of his cats come alive and devour the ogre rat that ruled the temple.
